ISP Final Record Could get Shattered by Hunters Faithful

Suncorp Stadium to swap Maroon for Red Black and Gold for a Day!

The PNG Hunters have attracted a near capacity crowd at the majority of games in the last four seasons. Hunters pretty much have a home ground kind of support at away game and there have been occasions where more people were at a hunter’s game then corresponding NRL games.

Now that they have reached a historic Intrust Super Cup Final, be sure that PNG will fill up whatever seats are allocated to this final. PNG Sports Online anticipate at least 15,000. Far surpassing the 7000 that attended last year’s final.

The courier mail is quoted as saying over a thousand tickets were snapped up immediately following the Hunters victory over Redcliffe. And going off the attendance in the last four years at venues around Queensland, the PNG community numbered at over 20,000 could all decide to show up and support their countrymen.

Regardless of the result, Sunday the 24th of September will be a historic day for PNG Sports, and with the PM invited and it’s highly likely he’ll attend. It’s an occasion one would have to be a part of.

There are still tickets available now, so if you would like to attend here’s a link to score yourself some tickets.
